BJP is going to woo voters in Gujarat Assembly polls with Garje Gujarat slogan
This time, 'Garje Gujarat' to be BJP's slogan for Gujarat Assembly elections.
Gandhinagar, August 31: The battle of Gujarat is definitely going to be an interesting one. While the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is confident of tiding over the anti-incumbency factor, the Congress is hoping against all hopes to defeat the saffron party.
Amid all these political game plans, the BJP is going to woo voters in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with its new slogan--Garje Gujarat--which loosely translates into Gujarat echoes in English.

The forthcoming Assembly elections in the state are slated in December. According to reports, the saffron party is going to launch its new slogan in the coming few days.
BJP president Amit Shah, on August 24, appointed finance minister Arun Jaitley as the election in-charges for Gujarat.
The BJP statement said Jaitley will be assisted by Nirmala Sitharaman, Jitender Singh, N Tomar and PP Chaudhary.
The Congress recently appointed Siddharthbhai Patel, son of former Gujarat chief minister Chimanbhai Patel, as the chairman of campaign committee and Madhusudan Mistry as the chairman of manifesto committee for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections.
The state will go to polls after the closely-observed Rajya Sabha polls recently, which saw Ahmed Patel of the Congress managing to win his seat after a lot of political drama.
Among the three Rajya Sabha seats, two were won by the BJP which included BJP president Shah and union minister Smriti Irani.
