Akhilesh Yadav Foresees BJP's Collapse After June 4 Amid Election Battles

In a recent exchange of political barbs, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's critique of the INDIA bloc, predicting a significant shift in political dynamics post-June 4. During an election rally in Fatehpur, PM Modi likened the INDIA alliance to "Bhanumati's clan," suggesting its disintegration amidst the ongoing general elections. Modi highlighted the disillusionment within the alliance, stating that their workers have become disheartened and reluctant to participate further in the election process.

BJPs Collapse Predicted by Yadav

Countering PM Modi's assertions, Yadav, at a rally in Balrampur, confidently stated that the BJP has faced defeats across all fronts in the first four phases of the elections. He further accused the BJP of forming its base through intimidation and enticements, predicting its downfall after June 4 when he believes the BJP will be ousted from power.

Yadav's campaign trail included stops in support of SP candidates across various Lok Sabha constituencies, including Faizabad, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, and Shravasti. During these rallies, Yadav criticized the BJP's governance, alleging favoritism towards industrialists over farmers and the poor. He claimed that while loans worth Rs 25 lakh crore were waived for big industrialists over the past decade, similar relief was not extended to farmers.

The SP chief also accused the current government of compromising the future of youth by failing to secure examination processes, leading to repeated paper leaks. He contrasted this with his party's commitment to democracy and constitutional values, emphasizing the need to safeguard reservations and ensure job opportunities for the youth.

Yadav's vision for an INDIA bloc-led government includes waiving off farmers' loans, legalizing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops, filling up 30 lakh vacant government posts, and abolishing the Agniveer scheme to provide permanent jobs in the Army. These promises come ahead of the sixth phase of general elections scheduled for May 25, covering 14 seats across Uttar Pradesh.

The political discourse reflects a heated battle for power with both parties leveraging their platforms to appeal to voters' sentiments. As Uttar Pradesh prepares for another crucial phase of voting, the statements from both camps underscore the high stakes involved in this electoral contest.
