BJD Organises Tiranga Yatra to Honour the Bravery of Indian Armed Forces
The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organised a Tiranga Yatra on Saturday to support the nation's armed forces. Party leaders, including MPs and MLAs, participated in the march from Master Canteen Square to Raj Mahal Chhak in the state capital, carrying the tricolour.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that the state government will hold a Parakram Sobha Yatra on Sunday. "The Indian Army has given a strong response to terrorist attacks through Operation Sindoor," Majhi stated in a post on X. He praised the soldiers' bravery and valour in defending the country's security and sovereignty.
Support for Armed Forces
BJD senior vice-president Debi Prasad Mishra expressed strong support for the Indian Armed Forces. "Indian Armed Forces have given a befitting reply to Pakistan. The enemy could not stand in front of the Indian jawans' strength and will power," Mishra said. The BJD leaders emphasised their unwavering backing for the military.
Majhi urged citizens to participate in the Parakram Shobha Yatra on May 11. "To honour the sacrifices of our Indian Armed Forces fighting for the honour and pride of the country, Parakram Shobha Yatra is being organised across the state tomorrow May 11," he said. He encouraged people to join as true Indians, demonstrating nationalism and unity for national interest.
Operation Sindoor's Impact
The Indian Army's Operation Sindoor has been pivotal in countering terrorist threats. The operation showcases the military's commitment to safeguarding national security. Majhi highlighted this operation as a testament to the soldiers' dedication and courage.
The BJD's Tiranga Yatra aimed to uplift the spirits of the armed forces by showing solidarity. The event underscored the party's commitment to national defence and unity against external threats.
The upcoming Parakram Sobha Yatra serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers. It calls upon citizens to unite in support of those who protect the nation's honour and pride.
