Bizarre: Man In Uttar Pradesh Gets Bitten By Snake Every Saturday; 7 incidents In 40 Days
A 24-year-old man from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, has reportedly been bitten by a snake for the seventh time in 40 days.
The victim, identified as Vikas Dubey, has sought financial assistance due to the repeated incidents.

Chief Medical Officer Rajiv Nayan Giri commented on the unusual situation.
"The victim came to the Collectorate and cried that he had spent a lot of money to cure the snake bite and now he requested financial help from the authorities. I advised him to visit a government-run hospital where he could get anti-snake venom free of cost," Mr Giri told the news agency ANI on Friday.
Investigation Initiated
Giri also noted the peculiar pattern of these snake bites occurring every Saturday.
"We still need to figure out if it is actually a snake that's biting him. We also need to see the competence of the doctor who is treating him. A person being bitten by a snake every Saturday and that person being admitted to the same hospital every time, and recovering in just one day seems strange," he said.
To address this anomaly, a team of three doctors has been formed to investigate further.
"This is why we thought of forming a team to investigate the case, after which I will tell the people the truth of the matter," Giri added.
Officials have confirmed that each time Dubey was bitten, he was taken to a hospital and recovered after receiving treatment. The consistency of these incidents has raised questions about their authenticity and underlying causes.
The Chief Medical Officer's remarks highlight concerns about both the frequency of these bites and the medical response Dubey has received.
The investigation aims to uncover whether these are genuine snake bites or if there is another explanation for his symptoms.
The case continues to draw attention as authorities work towards understanding and resolving this unusual series of events involving Dubey's repeated snake bites.
