Bihar mandate is a big slap on Modi government, says Lalu Prasad Yadav
Patna, Nov 9: After a landslide victory of the 'Grand Alliance' of JD(U), RJD and Congress on Monday, Nov 8, the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated him and his party for the massive victory in Bihar.
While expressing apology on the barbs taken during the election campaign rallies, the JD(U) leader Nitish on Monday said during a press conference, "as the mandate is in favour of our alliance, we want that Centre should help us in the development of the state, which will contribute to development of the country."
Describing the strategy behind the successful victory of the grand alliance, Nitish said, "The planned ideas of the grand alliance parties and announcement of all candidates before the start of elections, helped us to execute our plannings in clear way".
"Everyone has congratulated the party through tweets and on other social media networks, for the public mandate", Kumar added.
Kumar also said that Jharkhand political leaders Shibu Shoren, Hemant Shoren and other senior leaders have congratulated them for the victory in the state.

Adding to that, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said that "this mandate is a big slap on PM Narendra Modi led-NDA government and we are thankful to the Bihar public for trusting the grand alliance and helping us to win in the battlefield of elections."
