Bihar Election Results Shocker: 1st casualty reported; Lalu Prasad Yadav's man beaten to death

Patna, Nov 9: Hours after the announcement of election results in Bihar, once casualty has been reported in the state on Sunday, Nov 8. It has been reported that a RJD worker has been beaten to death.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's party, RJD, won 80 seats and its allies JD(U) and Congress grabbed 71 and 27 seats respectively. It was a land-slide victory for the Grand Alliance which defeated Narendra Modi's BJP.

Lalu Prasad's party workers celebrated the massive win in the state. However, their celebration came to an end when a group of unidentified persons attacked three RJD workers.

The RJD workers were beaten and assaulted so badly that they were rushed to hospital where one of the injured men succumbed to his injuries.

The incident took place in Navada village near Arrah. Other RJD workers held protests. Situation in the village remained tense.

According to sources, a few RJD workers identified the accused who later were attacked by Lalu Prasad's aides. Police began investigation and it was expected that the accused would be arrested soon.
