Bihar: 45-Year-Old Woman Found Dead with Eyes Gouged Out, Tongue Cut and Private Parts Mutilated
A 45-year-old woman was brutally murdered in Bihar's Khagaria district on Saturday evening. The victim, Sulekha Devi, was found with her eyes gouged out, her tongue cut, and injuries to her private parts.
The police said that Devi was attacked by four bike-borne men while she was working in her field. The men are believed to be her neighbors, and the murder is suspected to be linked to a long-standing land dispute.

Devi's family has accused five of their neighbors of the murder. The accused are Mahendra Singh, Rulo Singh, Rajdev Singh, Fulungi Singh, and Shyam Kumar Singh.
The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including murder. The accused are absconding, and the police are on their trail.
The brutal nature of the murder has shocked the local community. The villagers have blocked National Highway 31 in protest, and they have refused to cremate Devi's body until the accused are apprehended.
The police have assured the villagers that they will take swift and stringent action against the accused. The villagers have agreed to end their protest, but they have vowed to continue to protest until the accused are brought to justice.
