Bhiwani Murder Case: 'Family Content' Creator Kills Husband, Blames Social Media Obsession

A woman from Bhiwani, Haryana, has been arrested with her friend for allegedly killing her husband. According to an NDTV report, Ravina, who is popular on Instagram and YouTube, reportedly murdered her husband, Praveen, after he caught her with another man.

Ravina and Suresh, another social media influencer, had met on Instagram around one and a half years ago. They started creating videos together and grew close. Ravina was married to Praveen, 35, and they had a six-year-old son. Her husband was unhappy with her long hours spent on social media. He also suspected she was having an affair.

On March 25, Praveen came home to find Ravina and Suresh in an intimate situation. A fight broke out, and during the argument, Ravina allegedly used her dupatta to choke Praveen. Later that night, Ravina and Suresh placed Praveen's body between them on a bike and took it to a drain about six kilometres away. They dumped the body and returned.

Praveen's family filed a missing person complaint. Three days later, his body was found in a drain. CCTV footage showed Ravina and Suresh riding the bike with a third person in the middle. But on their return, only two people were seen.

The police questioned both of them. During the investigation, they confessed to the murder.

Ravina has more than 34,000 followers on Instagram and over 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. She made short, funny videos on family topics, but her real family life was troubled. Her husband and relatives had often raised concerns about her travel and online work.

The police are continuing the investigation. The case has shocked many people, especially those who followed Ravina on social media.
