Bengaluru: When an 8-year-old boy mailed PMO over delay in completion of flyover
Bengaluru, Oct 14: Alert and educated citizens are like a blessing in the road to development, for any country or its cities and states. In Bengaluru, an eight-year-old-boy grabbed the eyeballs when he sent a mail to PMO.
As per a report published in TOI, Abhinav, a Class III student, wrote a mail to Prime Minister's Office to bring their attention towards an under construction flyover in northwest Bengaluru.

Abhinav is a student of National Public School in Yeshwanthpur and he stays with his parents in Doddabommasandra, Vidyaranyapura.
Although the distance between his school and home is just 3 kms, but it takes at least 40 minutes for him to reach his school, due to the inconvenience caused by the delayed construction of flyover.
In the mail, Abhinav has mentioned that the flyover over a railway crossing on the Outer Ring Road, near Goraguntepalya junction, leads to huge traffic snarls.
Abhinav also highlighted that the delay in getting sanctions from the defence authorities is not only affecting people's health but also the studies of students.
Following his mail, PMO has reportedly asked the railways to look into the matter.
