Bengaluru shame: 45-year-old man rapes 4-year-old girl

Bengaluru, Dec 11: In a shameful and shocking incident, a 45-year-old man allegedly raped a 4-year-old girl on Wednesday, Dec 9, in Bengaluru.

As per a report published in TOI, the dastardly act was committed by one Puttaraja, when he sexually assaulted his neighbour's daughter.

The toddler's mother, who is a widow, was busy in household chores, when Puttaraja, a daily wage labourer, took the girl away on the pretext of occupying her. Her mother had no clue about his intentions.

On the same night, the girl complained of stomach pain and began vomiting. As she started crying, her mother was left shattered after seeing swollen and brusies on her daughter's private parts.

She immediately took her to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that the toddler was raped. On Wednesday night, Tavarakere police filed a complaint against the accused under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Puttaraja was arrested from Kollegal, where he had fled after the crime.
