Bengaluru Shame: 15-year-old girl harassed, father attacked at Domino’s Pizza

Bengaluru, Oct 26: A 15-year-old girl was harassed in a Domino's Pizza outlet in Bengaluru. The man, who was accused of harassing the girl, later allegedly attacked her father.

It has been reported that Manu (name changed) along with her family members had come to Bengaluru to celebrate Dussehra. However, their celebrations turned into nightmare in the city.

Manu and their family members hail from Mysuru. When they arrived in Bengaluru, she had gone to a pizza outlet to buy Domino's Pizza. Later Manu told her parents that one unknown person made lewd gestures at her as if asking her to come with him.

After getting to know about the incident, Manu's father confronted the accused who later abused and assaulted the former. Workers of the pizza outlet helped Manu's father and informed police about the incident.

Father of the girl was quoted as saying, "When I tried to question him for teasing my daughter he hurled abuses at me. When I objected, he punched on my face and tore my shirt. When he tried to escape, I chased him and caught him in front of the restaurant."

The accused has been booked under the provisions of the POCSO Act and arrested, Satish, 25, a resident of Vijayanagar in Bengaluru.
