Bengaluru Runners Unity Run (BRUR) to be held on Mar 1; Get all details

Bengaluru, Feb 19: Bengaluru Runners Unity Run (BRUR) will be held on March 1, 2015. BRUR is not an event just for a run. It gives an opportunity to the families of all runners to come together.

With plenty of fun activities, this year's event will be held at the Elim Resorts near Kanakapura Road, which is the ‘Hospitality Partner' of BRUR 2015.

All major running groups of Bengaluru are involved in organizing the event. This time, the exciting part is the mixed terrain for the run, including picturesque landscapes, small hamlets and plenty of green cover.

While runners can run, family members of the runners can stroll through, walk or jog through the semi-forested areas in the resort.

Additional events at BRUR 2015:

• A photography competition for family members for photos of the run
• A "runner's band" with singers and musicians who are also runners
• Resort facilities such as swimming pool, rain dance and children's play area

Interested people need to register their and their family members' names by paying nominal registration charges. The surplus amount after expenses are accounted for will be donated for a cause.
