Bengaluru Church Street blast- NIA files FIR
Bengaluru, May 20: The National Investigating Agency has registered an FIR in connection with the Bengaluru Church Street blasts case. The case was handed over to the NIA after the probe by the Bengaluru police hit a road block.
A blast at the busy Church Street in Bengaluru had occured in the month of December 2014 in which one lady lost her life. The Bengaluru police which probed the matter was unable to achieve any breakthrough in the case.

NIA FIR contents:
In the FIR the NIA has registered a case under Section 120(b) of the Indian Penal Code amounting to criminal conspiracy.The NIA has also registered cases under the Explosives Substances Act.
The NIA will now officially begin probing into the case. At present the agency suspects this case is connected to the train blast at Chennai and also a blast that took place at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh recently.
