Bengal Bandh On August 28: BJP Calls 12-Hour Strike In West Bengal
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for a 12-hour bandh in West Bengal to protest the police action against participants marching to the state secretariat.
This march was organized in response to the tragic rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

Sukanta Majumdar, President of the Bengal BJP, announced the general strike, urging residents to participate from 6 AM to 6 PM tomorrow.
Majumdar condemned the incident as a serious threat to public safety and demanded swift action from state authorities.
