Stop the unethical acts and control infiltration is what India's DGMO Lt Gen. Ranveer Singh told Pakistan on the hotline.
After Pakistan had killed three Indian soldiers in the most brutal fashion there was heavy retaliation by India. This forced Pakistan to ask for talks.
The DGMO issued a stern warning to Pakistan in which he said that any attempt made to escalate tension along the border would be dealt with severely.
Among the other issues raised were unethical practices by Pakistan along the border and the issue of infiltration. You will invite a strong response from our side the DGMO told Pakistan.
Soldiers killed, mutilated in Jammu and Kashmir
While the DGMO expressed grief over the killing of civilians, he also added that retaliatory firing was being carried out only at targeted locations. We are only targeting those posts through which infiltrations and cease fire violations are taking place, he also said.
Pakistan had said there were civilian casualties caused by India along the Line of Control. The Pakistan army said that seven persons including three of its soldiers had been killed in firing by India.
