Kahmir bandh: In response to the attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the loss of 26 tourists' lives on April 22, 2025, key business and travel trade groups in the Valley have declared a shutdown for the following day, April 23, 2025. Tariq Rashid Ghani, the President of CCIK, voiced the community's sentiments, stating, "We have called for Kashmir Bandh on April 23, i.e., Wednesday, against this barbaric act of violence."
