Azam Khan did nothing for welfare of Muslims: Bukhari

Lucknow, Mar 18: Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Maulana Syed Ahmed Bukhari today attacked UP Minister Azam Khan saying he (Khan) had done nothing for the welfare of Muslims in the three years SP government was in power.

"Azam Khan has done nothing for the betterment of Muslims," Bukhari who was on his way to Gorakhpur told reporters here tonight, and indirectly suggested that Khan was a Muslim Minister only in name.

Bukhari charged Khan with troubling his subordinates as a minister instead of doing something good for the people. "This is why no officer wants to work with him," he said.
