Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: The holy city of Ayodhya is gearing up for the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram temple, scheduled to take place on the banks of the Saryu river. Elaborate preparations are underway to ensure a festive atmosphere and facilitate the smooth participation of devotees.

Embracing Festivities with Lighting and Fireworks

On the evening of the consecration ceremony, the banks of the Saryu river will be illuminated with the warm glow of earthen lamps and the vibrant colors of fireworks. This enchanting spectacle will create an aura of celebration and devotion, welcoming devotees to the momentous occasion.

Enhancing Tourist Experience with Digital App and Guides

To enhance the experience of visitors, a digital tourist app will be launched on January 14. This app will provide comprehensive information about various tourist places in Ayodhya, making it easier for devotees to explore the city's rich cultural heritage. Additionally, 250 police guides will be deployed to assist devotees and offer guidance throughout their visit.

Ensuring Cleanliness and Safety

A special cleanliness campaign will be conducted from January 14 to 21 in Ayodhya, focusing on the routes leading to the Ram temple. This initiative aims to maintain the sanctity of the area and ensure a hygienic environment for devotees. Furthermore, the Irrigation Department will install barriers along a 2-kilometer stretch near the Saryu river to ensure the safety of visitors.

Promoting Cultural Heritage and Lost and Found Services

The Information Department will display hoardings featuring verses from the revered Ramcharitmanas, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the city. Additionally, helpdesks with lost and found centers will be set up at strategic locations to assist devotees in case of any misplacement of belongings.

Religious Ceremonies and Media Center Inauguration

From January 16 to 22, religious ceremonies will be organized in every temple across Ayodhya, fostering an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual rejuvenation. Moreover, the International Media Center constructed in Ramkot will be inaugurated on January 16, providing facilities for media personnel covering the significant event.
