Assam: Credit to both Sonowal and Hemanta Biswa Sarma, says BJP
Guwahati, May 19: The BJP today drove across the point that the credit for the victory in Assam goes to both Sarbananda Sonowal and Hemanta Biswa Sarma. Ram Madhav, senior BJP leader made a clear point that the credit for the victory goes to both.
He further told the media that the two leaders would jointly address the media in the evening.
There had been rumours of discomfort between the two leaders in Assam, but Madhav made it clear that the two are very much together and fought hard to ensure that the BJP won in Assam.
Madhav said that it is the people of Assam who made this possible. It is the hard work of one and all. Under Sonowal, the BJP promises to give the people what it had assured, Madhav also said. We assure the the people of Assam that we will give them what was promised.

The people o Assam have voted for a change and the BJP will provide the right governance in the state while also adding that this was the start of a new chapter. He further said that the victory for the BJP had come at the right time.
