An assistant sub-inspector of the traffic police lost his life, and six others sustained injuries when two vehicles in Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma's convoy were involved in an accident in Jagatpura on Wednesday. The incident occurred as Sharma was en route to a Laghu Udyog Bharti event, where Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was the chief guest.
