Rajasthan Poll: Ashok Gehlot appeals to people to vote for Congress

Jaipur, Nov 30: Highlighting his government's transparent and responsible governance, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today appealed the people of the state to vote for Congress based on its performance.

"We tried to give sensitive, transparent and responsible governance in the last five years. Historic initiatives were taken for providing social security, development of education, health, electricity, water sectors and roads but the Opposition BJP tried to mislead people by leveling false allegations," Gehlot said in a statement today.

He asked people to compare the works of his government with that of Vasundhara Raje's previous BJP government and decide which government was better in performance.
