As Modi begins Karnataka campaign, barrage of sarcastic tweets by Siddaramaiah welcome him
As Narendra Modi begins his Karnataka campaign, he was welcomed by a series of sarcastic tweets by Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah. Modi is set to address 15 rallies in 5 days and the BJP would be relying heavily on him to go that extra mile.

Siddaramaiah who is also on a hectic campaign trail decided to welcome the PM to Karnataka with a series of tweets that oozed sarcasm. " Dear Narendra Modi, heard you are visiting namma Karnataka. We welcome you to our state. While you are here, we Kannadigas would like you to address some concerns, please answer."
Siddaramaiah also raked up the Janardhan Reddy issue and questioned the BJP on giving tickets to tainted ministers. "Would G Janardhana Reddy be joining your rallies here? You have given his family & friends 8 tickets, hoping it will help BJP in 10-15 seats. And then, you lecture us on corruption. Please end this hypocrisy. Kannadigas aren't wearing Kamala (lotus, the BJP's election symbol) on their ears."
"You first make scam tainted @BSYBJP your party's CM face in Karnataka. Then media reports that you don't want to be seen sharing the stage with him at rallies! Karnataka wants to know if Yeddyurappa is still your CM candidate?"
