Another Shocker: Now, male BPO employees stripped, sexually assaulted in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Oct 8: Recently a woman employee of a BPO company was gangraped in Bengaluru. Now. two male employees of another BPO company were stripped and sexually assaulted in the city.

Three days after the brutal gangrape incident, news about the two male BPO employees surfaced. The two incidents tarnished the image of the IT city.

The two BPO employees along with their cab driver were stripped and sexually assaulted when their cab was involved in a minor accident with a car.

The incident took place on Sept 30 but it came into light only on Wednesday, Oct 7. The employees were on their way to work when their cab hit the car in the wee hours.

The two drivers of the cab and the car were engaged in a heated argument when the two BPO employees came to the rescue of the cab driver. However, the situation went out of control and argument led to alleged sexual assault of the two employees and their driver.

The accused, who have been arrested, robbed the three victims. They took away their mobile phones, ATM cards and Rs 600 from the BPO employees and the driver. The incident incident took place near Micro Layout in Bengaluru.
