Another embarrassment for SP! Now party MLA’s supporters caught on camera thrashing toll official

Lucknow, Nov 22: A day after Samajwadi party chief Mulayam Singh faced flak for his ostentatious birthday celebrations, another controversy has hit the party. In a shocking incident of political goondaism, supporters of party MLA Abhay Singh have been caught on camera, thrashing toll plaza employees .

The incident in which one of the employee received serious injury, happened at Barabanki in Ahmedpur district of the Uttar Pradesh. Reportedly, the supporters got angry after the scorpio car of Gosainganj MLA was stopped by toll plaza employee for entering in wrong lane. In camera one can see clearly, how the supporters having clout of the MLA, brutally thrashed the employees who were just doing their duty. Not only that, reports say that MLA who was sitting inside the car didn't even come out to stop them.

The area police has yet to register case in the matter. One of the victim even alleged that the police refused to take action, giving reason that they all belonged to ruling SP and they may have to pay price for that.

Earlier, on Friday when questioned about the funding for the grand birthday event of Mulayam Singh, an irate Khan said money came from Taliban, a terror group and Dawood Ibrahim, an underworld don.

"Why does it matter where the money for celebrations is coming from? Some have come from Taliban, some from Abu Salem, some from Dawood (Ibrahim), some from terrorists...," he said in an apparent sarcastic response.
