Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha 2024 Results: Check The Full Winners/Leading Candidates List
Andhra Pradesh is one of those states in India where BJP themselves couldn't get a large number of seats for themselves. Telugu Desam Party (TDP), however, managed to secure a majority vote in the state, beating out Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and Janasena Party (JnP).
TDP managed to lead in 16 out of the 25 total seats in Andhra Pradesh, while BJP only led in three. Their combined seats gave the NDA 19 out of the 25 seats in the state. YSRCP only managed to lead in four seats. JnP came last with only two leads.
2024 Lok Sabha Elections were a far cry from the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Andhra Pradesh. In 2019, TDP only managed to secure three seats for themselves, while YSRCP secured 22 out of the 25 seats in the state.
This victory for the NDA in Andhra Pradesh further ensures that they will be the ones to form the government. The lack of seats for BJP themselves, however, will mean that there is potential for the coming government to be more volatile than it has been for the last 10 years.
