YSRCP Leader Sake Sailajanath Accuses CM Naidu of Misleading Andhra Pradesh Residents with SwarnaAndhra@2047 Vision
YSRCP leader Sake Sailajanath criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of misleading the public with his SwarnaAndhra@2047 vision. Sailajanath argued that Naidu's economic goals are unrealistic and serve as a distraction from unfulfilled election promises. He claimed that Naidu's narrative fails to enhance people's purchasing power or create wealth.

During a press conference at the YSRCP headquarters in Tadepalli, Sailajanath highlighted the disparity between Naidu's grand visions and the actual situation. He noted that after Vision-2020, nearly 70% of families remained below the poverty line, indicating that progress did not reach ordinary citizens. "The chief minister talks about grand visions, but the reality is different," he stated.
Privatisation Concerns and Economic Models
Sailajanath alleged that Naidu's previous visions resulted in extensive privatisation. He criticised the P4 model—Public, Private, People, and Partnership—as another strategy to transfer government assets to private entities. This includes toll roads, which he believes are being handed over to private firms under this model.
Despite serving multiple terms as chief minister and introducing three vision documents—Vision-2020, Vision-2029, and Vision-2047—Sailajanath claimed that tangible progress remains elusive. He pointed out issues such as rising user charges in hospitals and deteriorating school infrastructure as evidence of neglect in education and healthcare sectors.
Agriculture and Infrastructure Challenges
The YSRCP leader also criticised Naidu's approach to agriculture, stating that it is viewed as a liability. He claimed this perspective forced two crore farmers to abandon farming activities. Additionally, he mentioned that irrigation projects remain incomplete, further impacting the agricultural sector.
Sailajanath dismissed Naidu's claims regarding IT development in Andhra Pradesh. He credited Hyderabad's growth to Rajiv Gandhi and YS Rajasekhara Reddy instead of Naidu. This statement challenges Naidu's assertions about his contributions to the IT sector.
Sailajanath's remarks reflect ongoing political tensions in Andhra Pradesh. His criticisms highlight perceived shortcomings in Naidu's governance and vision plans. The accusations underscore a broader debate on economic development strategies and their impact on ordinary citizens in the state.
