Amit Shah Confident Of PM Modis Third Term, Predicts Bigger BJP Win In 2024 Lok Sabha Polls
Home Minister Amit Shah expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi securing a third term in 2024, projecting an even greater victory for the BJP compared to 2019. Shah highlighted the partys choice of capable workers as chief ministers and emphasized the growth of ordinary workers within the party.
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah exuded confidence on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will secure a third term in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, asserting that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for an even greater victory than in 2019.
BJP's Choice of New Faces as Chief Ministers

Responding to a question about the BJP's decision to appoint new faces as chief ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, Shah explained that these individuals were once ordinary workers who were given opportunities by the party. He cited the examples of former chief ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Raman Singh, and Vasundhra Raje, emphasizing that they had risen through the ranks.
Modi's High Approval Ratings: A Reflection of Public Devotion
Commenting on Prime Minister Modi's consistently high approval ratings, Shah attributed this to the public's belief in his ability to make India great. He asserted that Modi has dedicated himself entirely to the nation and its people, even taking unpopular decisions for the greater good.
BJP's Success: A Result of Performance, Leadership, and Agenda
Shah expressed confidence in the BJP's prospects, highlighting its performance, sacred aims, and people's agenda. He emphasized that the party is backed by a leader who is unmatched not only in India but also globally.
Strengthening the Party and Motivating Cadres
Shah lauded Prime Minister Modi's efforts in strengthening the party and keeping its cadres motivated. He credited Modi for the BJP's unprecedented success, stating that he is the sole reason for its victories.
Critique of the Opposition's INDIA Bloc
Shah took a swipe at the opposition INDIA bloc, questioning its visibility and noting the internal conflicts among its constituents during recent assembly polls. He dismissed the alliance as a mere media creation with no substantial presence.
Commitment to Uniform Civil Code and Citizenship Amendment Act
Shah reiterated the BJP's commitment to implementing the Uniform Civil Code and the Citizenship Amendment Act. He criticized the Congress for discarding the UCC due to vote bank politics and emphasized the importance of equal laws for all citizens.
Condemnation of North-South Divide Rhetoric
Shah condemned attempts to create a north-south divide following the assembly polls, in which the BJP won three Hindi-speaking states while the Congress secured power in Telangana. He asserted that the BJP is strong in Karnataka and expressed confidence in improving its performance in Telangana, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu in the 2024 elections.
Amit Shah's statements reflect the BJP's confidence in its prospects for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He highlighted the party's achievements, its commitment to key policies, and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as factors contributing to its success. Shah's critique of the opposition and his condemnation of divisive rhetoric underscore the BJP's determination to maintain its dominance in Indian politics.
