Amarnath Yatra: BSF Bravehearts Ensure Safe Passage For Thousands of Pilgrims, Win Hearts With Heroic Service

The Border Security Force (BSF) is playing a vital role in helping thousands of pilgrims during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. From medical help to rescue operations, BSF teams are working day and night to ensure that everyone stays safe on the difficult mountain journey.

This year's Yatra began on July 3, and nearly 1.75 lakh people have already visited the holy Amarnath cave. But the path is tough - steep climbs, cold weather, and thin air have caused many people to feel dizzy, tired, or have trouble breathing.

BSF's Quick Medical Help Saves Lives

To deal with these problems, BSF has placed rescue and medical teams along the two main routes - the Pahalgam and Baltal tracks. These teams are trained to handle emergencies and are carrying oxygen cylinders, first-aid kits, and other medical supplies.

"We are here 24/7 to help every pilgrim. Their safety is our top concern," said a BSF spokesperson.

Thanks to their quick actions, many people with breathing issues have received oxygen support on the spot. In serious cases, BSF teams have helped carry people to safer areas or sent them for further treatment.

Keeping the Route Clean and Safe

BSF is also helping keep the pilgrimage route clean. Along with the Directorate of Rural Sanitation, BSF has set up mobile toilets, waste bins, and composting units to manage garbage and maintain hygiene.

Pilgrims Thank BSF for Their Support

Many pilgrims have praised the BSF for their hard work. Sunita Devi from Uttar Pradesh said, "The climb was very hard. I saw people falling sick. But BSF was always there, helping without thinking twice. They are truly doing God's work."

Another pilgrim, Rajesh Mehta from Maharashtra, said, "I have done many yatras, but I have never seen such good medical and rescue help. BSF made us feel safe the whole way."

Yatra Continues Smoothly Despite Rain

Even though there has been some rain in the Kashmir Valley, the Yatra is going on without problems. Thanks to the BSF's dedication, thousands of pilgrims are able to complete their spiritual journey safely.
