All India Cine Workers Association Write To PM Modi Seeking Ban On 'Adipurush'
All India Cine Workers Association has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a ban on 'Adipurush' screening in the theatres and OTT platforms in the future.
"We need FIR against Director Om Raut, dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla and the producers of the film..," reads their letter.

The letter further stated that 'Adipurush' with its screenplay and dialogues is defaming the image of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman.
"'Adipurush' Movie is Hurting religious Sentiments of Hindus and Sanatan Dharma. Prabhu Shri Ram is a God for everyone in India no matter what religious faith one comes from, this movie depicts Lord Ram and even Ravan who looks like a character of a video game, with dialogues hurting every Indian in the country and across the globe. Actor Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan shouldn't have been part of such a disgraceful movie ever made in the history of Indian Cinema, Adipurush is a complete disaster of our faith in Shri Ram and Ramayan," the letter said.

Ayodhya seers seek ban on 'Adipurush'
Seers in Ayodhya demanded an immediate ban on 'Adipurush' saying its dialogues made their blood boil as different parts of Uttar Pradesh witnessed protests against the film on Monday.
Ayodhya seers alleged that the film was made as part of a foreign conspiracy against Hinduism and its culture.
Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, said, "The film's dialogues make our blood boil. The film should be banned immediately. The government should ensure that this does not happen again. It has been done intentionally."
Mahant Ram Das, the chief priest of the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya, alleged that the film was made under a "foreign conspiracy against Hindu religion and culture".
"The dialogues delivered by the characters playing Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman and Goddess Sita will destroy the ideal culture of Ramayana. We urge the Centre that the film should be banned immediately. A religious film, before being cleared, should be reviewed by Hindu religious leaders," he said.
'Adipurush' Controversy
The film has been mired in controversy since the release of its teaser as some Hindu groups objected to the portrayal of Lord Ram and other characters. They alleged that the film was inaccurate and inappropriate and that it would hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
Tapori language
The action film 'Adipurush', based on the Sanskrit epic Ramayana has come under strong criticism for making the Hindu mythological figures speak the language of street thugs.
In a scene where Lanka King Ravana's son sets Hanuman's tail on fire, the ardent devotee of Lord Ram has been made to say, "Kapda tere baap ka. Tel tere baap ka. Aag bhi tere baap ki. Toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki."
"Jo humari behno ko haath lagaayenge, unki Lanka laga denge," a mythological character says in another scene.
'Adipurush' release halted in Nepal
In Nepal, the film's release hit a snag as the screening was put on hold in cinema halls across Kathmandu following a controversy over a dialogue that calls Janaki the daughter of India.
"Until the line 'Janaki is a daughter of India' contained in the South Indian film 'Adipurush' is removed not just in Nepal but also in India, no Hindi films will be allowed to run in Kathmandu Metropolitan City (sic)," Mayor Shah wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
