Speaking to the media, CCFO Nageswara Rao said that all four leopards have now been captured. He said that the trap cameras set up by the forest department officials have not recorded any other leopards in the area.

The operation to capture the leopards was launched after a 12-year-old girl was killed by a leopard on the walkway in August. The leopard was later captured and released into the wild.

The leopards are believed to have strayed into the area from the forests of the Eastern Ghats. They are an endangered species and are protected under the Wildlife Protection Act.

The successful capture of the leopards is a relief to the people of Tirupati, who were concerned about the safety of their children. It is also a major achievement for the forest department officials, who have shown exemplary courage and determination in carrying out the operation.

The operation was challenging, as the leopards were very elusive and difficult to track. The forest department officials used a variety of methods to capture the leopards, including setting up traps, using tranquilizer guns, and tracking them with radio collars.
