Akhilesh Yadav, the chief of the Samajwadi Party, is scheduled to join Rahul Gandhi, a senior leader of the Congress party, during the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday afternoon, February 25. This collaborative move follows the recent agreement between their respective parties and underscores the unity among opposition forces in the state.

- 63 seats will be contested by the SP, while the Congress has agreed to fight in 17 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh as per the seat-sharing formula.
- According to the agreement, the Congress will contest Mathura and Fatehpur Sikri parliamentary seats, while the SP will contest Agra, Firozabad, and Mainpuri in Agra Division, and Aligarh, Hathras, and Etah in the Aligarh division, which are all the constituencies that the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' will pass through on Sunday.

- During an event in Aligarh on Sunday morning, Rahul Gandhi emphasized the importance of addressing injustices faced by the poor, farmers, youth, and women, stating that the yatra aims to address these issues.
- Covering a distance of 6,713 km, spanning 100 Lok Sabha constituencies and 337 assembly segments, and traversing 110 districts, the yatra will proceed to Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra after Uttar Pradesh and conclude in Mumbai on March 20, after 67 days.
