AIT urges Centre to probe India's tallest tricolour replacement at Attari-Wagah border
The tallest Indian Flag at the Attari-Wagah border will be replaced for the fourth time. It would be a shame if the Flag is damaged says the AIT.
India's tallest tricolor at the Attari-Wagah border fluttering at a height of 360-ft, will be replaced for the fourth time.

The Amritsar Improvement Trust which is responsible for the upkeep of the tricolour has urged Centre to examine the flag material used as it is failing to withstand the wind flow.
Speaking to ANI, AIT chairman Suresh Mahajan said that people behind installing the flags should have examined the flag material. The flag project was initiated without considering the technical report and was hoisted in a hurry.
Mahajan further said that it is a crime and an insult to national flag which requires to be probed and responsibilities should be fixed against the persons involved with flag project.
