Aircraft Wreckage Found in J&K As India Targets Terror Bases in Pakistan, PoK
Wreckage of a fighter jet reportedly found in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after India announced that it had targeted nine "terrorist infrastructure" sites across the border in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.

While the cause of the crashes remains unclear, the Indian government has not yet issued an official statement.
In the wake of these attacks, Pakistan's military has said to retaliate "forcefully," and Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for a unified response from the nation's armed forces.
India, on the other hand, has maintained that its actions under Operation Sindoor were carefully calculated, with the aim of targeting terrorist infrastructure and not military installations.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that left 26 people dead. India's retaliatory strikes have further escalated the situation along the Line of Control (LoC), with multiple instances of cross-border shelling being reported from both sides.
