Air Arabia flt makes emergency landing as passenger takes ill
Panaji, April 3: An Air Arabia flight travelling between Sharjah and Chennai made an emergency landing at Goa Airport in the wee hours on Sunday,April 3 after a woman passenger took ill, officials said.
"The flight was allowed to land as there was medical emergency on board. The passenger was evacuated and the flight took-off after that," Goa airport Director K S Rao said.

The plane, which was on its way to Chennai, landed at the Goa airport at around 4.30 AM. Airport sources said the 70-year-old woman (name not disclosed) developed chest pain mid-air due to which the pilot sought for emergency landing.
Rao said she was immediately referred to a private hospital in Vasco town, next to the airport.
