AI to operate New Delhi-Rajkot flight from Feb 23

New Delhi, Feb 19: National passenger carrier Air India on Thursday said it will connect New Delhi to Rajkot from Feb 23.

The airline said it will deploy its new 70-seater ATR-72-600 aircraft on the route and will operate flights six days a week except Wednesday.

According to the airline, Rajkot will be connected directly to Delhi and Mumbai with the launch of the new flight service.

"The flight will meet a long standing demand of the gold and jewellery market and also give a fillip to its industrial sector," the airline said.
