Ahmedabad: Woman sets her two kids on fire, kills self
Ahmedabad, July 2: A 28-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself on fire along with her two minor children in Shaktipara area of Botad town today, police said.
"Benaben Garajiya set herself and her two children Sumit (4) and Hardik (1) ablaze in Shaktipara area, resulting into their death," P V Sumera, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Botad taluka police station, told PTI.

It appears from the crime scene that Benaben poured kerosene on herself and the kids before lighting the match.
When the police party reached their house after receiving a message from control room, we found the trio lying unconscious, Sumera said.
While Benaben was shifted to Sonaval Hospital in the town, her children were rushed to a Community Health Centre in Paliyad area where all of them were declared dead, he said. Police are unaware of the motive behind Benaben taking the extreme step.
"Benaben has not left behind any suicide note, but still police will question her husband Bipin who could throw some light on the incident," the police officer said.
Police are in the process of registering the FIR in the case, he added.
