Ahmedabad Woman’s Intimate Video Goes Viral; She Ends Her Life By Jumping From 14th Floor
A tragic incident unfolded in Ahmedabad's Chandkheda area, where a 21-year-old woman ended her life by jumping from the 14th floor of a high-rise building. As reported by Bhaskar English, the woman decided to end her life after her intimate video went viral on the internet involving her and her boyfriend. The incident has sparked discussions on digital abuse and its emotional impact on victims.
As per the report, the woman belonged to Sanand taluka, and was in a relationship with Mohit alias Mitraj Makwana. Allegedly, he recorded her intimate video and shared it with his friend, Hardik Rabari.

This led to a series of distressing events culminating in suicide. Despite efforts to delete the video, she remained anxious about its potential spread.
Blackmail and Extortion Allegations Over Viral Video
The situation worsened when Hardik allegedly contacted the woman, claiming possession of the video and demanding a meeting near a hotel. Accompanied by her friend and husband, she met Hardik, who showed them the video on his phone. He claimed to have obtained it from Mohit's device.
In an attempt to resolve the situation, the woman reached out to Mohit, pleading for the video's deletion. Mohit demanded ₹2,500 in return for deleting it. She met him in Sola with her friend and husband. Despite police intervention leading to the video's deletion from Mohit's phone, Meenakshi's fears persisted.
Legal Proceedings Initiated In Death Case Due To Viral Video
Chandkheda Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Mohit and Hardik under IPC Section 306. PI Nikunj Solanki confirmed Mohit's arrest while Hardik remains at large. ACP D.V. Rana noted that although police were involved earlier for video deletion, no FIR was filed due to informal settlement between parties.
Despite deleting the video from Mohit's phone under police supervision, Meenakshi feared its existence on Hardik's phone or further sharing. Her mental health deteriorated amidst ongoing blackmail and psychological trauma despite attempts at resolution through police involvement.
