After Anand Singh, the Congress is missing another MLA and this time it is Pratap Gowda Patil. The MLA from Maski is reportedly showing an inclination to support the BJP and has been not reachable since Thursday morning.
The suspense around Patil has built up since morning and he is expected to take a call on his stance only by evening. He would make his stance public according to people close to him.
Patil was was an MLA of the BJP in 2008 before he joined Yeddyurappa's KJP . In 2013 however he joined he Congress and won the elections. This year too he won the elections from Maski.
Sources say that he is in talks with Sriramulu who had introduced him to politics in the first place. The development comes after reports suggested that Vijaypura MLA Anand Singh was showing an inclination to join the BJP. Kumaraswamy earlier accused the centre of using the Enforcement Directorate against Singh.
