Former President Abdul Kalam to interact with scientists tomorrow

Kalam will hold discussions with the scientists of Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), a research institute working in the areas of bilogy and biotechnology of micro-organisms, an official of the institute said on Monday.
The institute is holding a day-long round table conference tomorrow which will see presence of academicians, medical experts and scientists across the country, he said.
The conference will deliberate upon formalising strategy for drug resistance and ambro microbes (things like bacteria which are not visible by naked eyes), he said.
Besides, Union Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Minister Jitendra Singh has also been invited for the event, he said.
The IMTECH, set up in 1984 here, is one of the constituent establishments of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
