AAP's drama ends: Arvind Kejriwal camp removes 'anti-Kejriwal' Yadav, Bhushan from PAC
New Delhi, Mar 4: What looked imminent from the very beginning has happened, the Arvind Kejriwal faction in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has finally removed 'rebel' Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan out of its decision-making Political Affairs Committee (PAC).

The official declaration finally came, on Wednesday, after an entire day was passed in by the AAP leaders in drama. The party's National Executive took disciplinary action against top leaders Yadav and Bhushan for their anti-party activities.
"AAP National Executive has decided that Yogendra Yadav and I will no longer remain members of the PAC," Prashant Bhushan told media persons after coming out of the meet.
In the meet both Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan received 8 votes in their favour while 11 members voted against their presence in the PAC.
"I will work as a dedicated worker of the party and will do whatever role I am asked to do," said Yadav after he was shown the doors in the NE meet.
AAP's 21 member National Executive also rejected Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's resignation from the post of national convenor. Earlier in the day, Arvind Kejriwal unfolded a high octane drama by tendering his resignation from the post of national convener.
Earlier in the day, Yadav expressed hope that the party would have moved a "step forward and not backward" at the end of the meeting.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and senior party leaders Prashant Bhushan, Kumar Vishwas, Ilyas Azmi and Sunil Arya have already reached the venue.
Meanwhile, hundreds of party supporters, who have gathered outside the meet venue, are shouting slogans demanding the leaders to stay united. Yadav also said in a tweet, "Na todenge na chodenge, sudhrenge aur sudharenge" (will neither split nor quit, will improve and bring improvement).
This development in AAP has cemented the fact that it is only Arvind Kejriwal and his loyalists who call the shots in the party and those who'll go against them will be humiliated and shown the doors.
Hence, it will now be interesting to see whether Bhushan and Yadav will continue being a part of AAP or they'll take a separate path from here on.
