AAP Unveils Third List of 11 Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its third list of 11 candidates for the Haryana assembly elections late Tuesday. This follows the earlier release of a second list of nine candidates on the same day. Notably, Haryana AAP president Sushil Gupta's name was absent from both lists.

Third List of Candidates
In the third list, AAP has fielded Pravin Guskhani to contest against former Haryana chief minister and Congress veteran Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi constituency. Other candidates include Bheem Singh Rathi for Radaur, Amar Singh for Nilokheri, Amit Kumar for Israna, Mahender Dahiya for Jhajjar, Satish Yadav for Rewari, and Col (retd) Rajendra Rawat for Hathin.
Previous Lists and Seat Sharing
On Monday, AAP had released its first list of 20 candidates after seat-sharing discussions with Congress fell through. So far, AAP has announced candidates for 40 out of the 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly. The last date for filing nomination papers is September 12, with elections scheduled for October 5.
Past Election Performance
In the 2019 Haryana assembly elections, AAP contested 46 seats but did not secure any wins. During the Lok Sabha general election, Congress had allocated one seat to AAP in Haryana, which they contested unsuccessfully. In Delhi, however, Congress and AAP had formed an alliance for the Lok Sabha polls but contested separately in Punjab.
The upcoming elections will be crucial as both parties aim to improve their standings in Haryana's political landscape.
