AAP's Sanjay Singh Leaves Jail, Vows to Challenge BJP's Corruption

New Delhi, Apr 3 - In a significant development, AAP MP Sanjay Singh was released from Tihar jail on Wednesday, a day after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the Delhi excise case. Having spent six months behind bars, Singh's release was met with jubilation by AAP workers and supporters who gathered outside the prison to welcome him. Dressed in traditional attire, Singh addressed the crowd, emphasizing the need for continued struggle and expressing solidarity with other jailed AAP leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain.

AAP MP Challenges BJP After Jail

Upon his release at 8:11 pm, Singh made his way to the AAP headquarters where he shared an emotional moment with Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Arvind Kejriwal. In a heartfelt address to party workers, Singh recounted the emotional toll on Kejriwal's family and declared that the people of Delhi would respond to the BJP's actions. He further announced his intention to visit the families of Sisodia and Jain, reaffirming the party's unity in face of adversity.

The atmosphere outside Tihar jail was charged as supporters chanted slogans and showered Singh with rose petals. The presence of heavy security underscored the event's significance. AAP leaders Saurabh Bharadwaj and Durgesh Pathak were also present, echoing Singh's sentiments about the ongoing struggle.

Following his release, AAP took to social media to proclaim Singh's freedom as a victory against oppression. Atishi, another prominent AAP leader, spoke to reporters highlighting the baselessness of the excise case against AAP leaders. She pointed out that despite extensive investigations by ED and CBI, no evidence of corruption was found against any AAP member. Atishi hailed Singh's release as a testament to the party's integrity.

Sanjay Singh's journey back to freedom was marked by a brief hospital stay at ILBS Hospital in Vasant Kunj for a regular checkup before completing bail formalities at Tihar jail. His wife Anita Singh remarked that there would be no celebrations for his release as other party leaders remain incarcerated.

This episode underscores the ongoing political tussle in Delhi and highlights AAP's resolve to stand united against what it perceives as politically motivated actions by its adversaries. With key leaders still in jail, the party vows to continue its fight for justice and governance aimed at benefiting Delhi's populace.
