Sanjay Singh Asserts AAP Will Win Over 60 Seats in Upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh criticised the BJP on Wednesday, accusing the central party of failing to deliver on its promises and lacking a development strategy for Delhi. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged party workers to secure over 50% of votes at each booth in the upcoming assembly elections.

Sanjay Singh: AAP to Win 60 Seats in Delhi

Modi claimed that the AAP government in Delhi is marked by unfulfilled promises, false announcements, and corruption. He stated that people are openly expressing dissatisfaction with the AAP administration, noting that it makes new announcements daily as it senses impending defeat.

Delhi's Development Concerns

Sanjay Singh, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, responded by asserting that AAP would secure more than 60 out of 70 Assembly seats in Delhi. He accused Modi and the BJP of misleading the public with false promises while lacking a vision for Delhi's future.

Singh argued that the BJP lacks a coherent plan for Delhi's development, focusing instead on empty promises and bizarre schemes. "They cannot secure a future for the children, they cannot build schools or hospitals," he said.

Unfulfilled Promises

Singh also criticised Modi for not fulfilling promises such as creating two crore jobs annually, sending Rs 15 lakh to every citizen, and providing permanent homes to all by 2022. He highlighted the Agniveer scheme, which offers four-year jobs where "a son retires while his father is still working," as an example of flawed vision.

Singh emphasised that even basic promises remain unfulfilled under Modi's leadership. He accused the BJP of focusing on empty rhetoric rather than addressing real issues affecting Delhi's residents.

The ongoing political discourse highlights significant concerns about governance and development strategies in Delhi. As elections approach, these issues are likely to remain at the forefront of political debates and discussions.
