Haryana Extends Aadhaar Card Free Update Deadline To September 2024
Residents of Haryana can update their Aadhaar cards for free until 14 September 2024, ensuring eligibility for government schemes.
There is good news for the residents of Haryana. UIDAI has extended the date for updating the Aadhaar card free of charge to 14 September 2024. A government spokesperson said that the Aadhaar card is crucial for availing government schemes. It is necessary to update a 10-year-old Aadhaar card.
Earlier, Aadhaar could be updated for free until 14 June. Now, the date has been extended by three months to 14 September 2024. Citizens can update their Aadhaar card by visiting the website uidai.gov.in. They can also visit any CSC and Aadhaar center for this purpose.

The spokesperson added that the state government has appealed to the public. Those who have not updated their Aadhaar card in the last 10 years must do so in time. This will help them avoid any problems in availing government schemes or other services in the future.
