7th Pay Commission: Odisha employees can calculate new salaries here
There was some amount of delay in the announcement of the recommendations.
The 7th Pay Commission recommendations were implemented by the Odisha government. This good news came like music to the ears of the employees who were awaiting this decision for long.
There was some amount of delay in the announcement of the recommendations. However the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik finally took the decision which resulted in a pay hike for the employees. The pay hike will effective from September 1 2017. Here we calculate what your salary will be starting September 1 onwards.

Group D and C employees
The Group D employees will get a monthly basic salary of Rs 18,000 as per the new recommendations when compared to the present salary of Rs 6,450. The Group C employees who are currently drawing Rs 7,100 will get Rs 19,000 basic salary.

Group B and A employees
The Group B employees will get a basic salary of Rs 35,400 per month. Their current salary is at Rs 13,500. The Group A employees are currently drawing Rs 21,000 per month. Now their salaries will be Rs 56,100 basic per month.

Group A OAS employees
The Group A OAS employees at the top level will draw Rs 1,44,200. This salary would come into effect from September 1 onwards. The salary increased following the decision of the state government to implement the recommendations.

IAS officers' salary after 7th Pay Commission
There is a salary hike for IAS officers as well. With the Odisha government implementing the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the IAS officers posted in Odisha will see their salaries increase to Rs 2,25,000.
