6-year-old girl with multiple internal injuries dies in hospital; case registered
The Delhi police on Sunday have registered a case in connection with a six-year-old girl who died on 2 February, a day after she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) with multiple internal injuries.
Doctors suspect the girl was sexually assaulted. The body was sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital for post-mortem report.
Based on the post-mortem report & Ganga Ram Hospital, the police has reistered a case under Section 376 & POCSO.
The incident comes just days after an eight-month-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her 28-year-old cousin in Shakurpur Basti.
