5-yr-old girl falls into borewell in Rajasthan, rescue efforts on

Jaipur, Oct 4: A 5-year-old girl on Sunday fell into an open borewell while playing outside her house in Biharipura village of Dausa district and efforts are on to rescue her, police official said.

Jyoti Meena, fell into the borewell of about 50 ft depth while she was playing outside her house located in the agriculture area at around 1:30 pm, Additional SP-Dausa Anil Kayal told PTI.

District administration officials and rescue team rushed to the spot to bring the girl out, he said adding NDRF team was also called to assist in the operation.

As hundreds of villagers gathered at the spot, extra police personnel have been deployed to control the situation . Kayal said.
