35-Year-Old Chhattisgarh Man Dies After Swallowing Live Chick; Bird Survives

In a shocking incident linked to suspected occult practices, a 35-year-old man from Chhattisgarh tragically lost his life after reportedly swallowing a live chick. The bizarre case, which has left medical professionals stunned, occurred in Chhindkalo village, Ambikapur.

The deceased, identified as Anand Yadav, collapsed at home shortly after returning from a bath. According to his family, Yadav complained of dizziness before fainting. Concerned relatives rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

During the post-mortem examination, doctors were puzzled about the cause of death until they made a shocking discovery. An incision near Yadav's throat revealed a live chick, measuring approximately 20 cm, lodged inside his body.

Dr Santu Bag, the pathologist who conducted the autopsy, explained that the chick had obstructed Yadav's airway and food passage, causing asphyxiation. "This is the first time I have encountered such a case in my career," Dr Bag said, adding that he has performed over 15,000 post-mortems to date, as reported by India Today.

The unusual circumstances surrounding Yadav's death have raised suspicions of occult involvement. Villagers revealed that Yadav had been in contact with a 'tantrik' (occultist) and was reportedly struggling with infertility. Some locals believe the incident occurred as part of a ritual Yadav may have undertaken to fulfill his desire to father a child.

Local police have launched an investigation to uncover further details and confirm the exact cause of the incident.
