3 of a UP family die in suicide bid
Luchnow (UP), Sept 10: A 45-year-old jeweller along with three members of his family allegedly consumed poison at Bahadurnagar locality in the wee hours on Thursday, following which three of them died.
Krishna Kumar alias Sappu Soni, a jeweller, along with his wife Maya (42), son Ankur (22) and daughter Rishu (20) consumed poisonous pills and were rushed to the hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Martand Prakash Singh said.

While Maya, Ankur and Rishu were declared brought dead, Kumar is undergoing treatment and his condition is reported to be critical, he said.
Poisonous pills and glasses of water were recovered from the scene but no suicide note was found from the spot, police said.
The reason behind the extreme step was not confirmed though heavy debts on Krishna Kumar were reported, Singh said, adding investigation is underway.
