24-year old Mizo woman found dead in South Delhi Home

, Oct 17: In a recent spate of hate crimes against the people from the North East, a few students from Bangalore and two BPO executives from Gurgaon were beaten-up badly because of their roots. Now, a 24-year old woman was found dead in her house in Munirka.

REported to have died from severe head injuries, the police have registered a case of murder.

This incident in South Delhi shows the state administration's incompetency in tackling the hate crimes. The girl was taken to Safdarjung Hospital with serious head injuries where she was declared brought dead, police said today. "She was living with a man identified as Virender Singh since the last few months. His role is being ascertained," said a senior police official. Police have registered a case at Vasant Vihar Police Station and further investigations are on.
